My husband may be in ABU’s everyday, but this mom also has her “uniform” for getting it all done! My wardrobe has to take me from errands, walking the boy to/from school in all kinds of weather, quick circuit workouts throughout the day, chores, and appointments! Coordinating, easy pieces a must! A little color doesn’t hurt either.
What kind of uniform do you don everyday to kick some butt? Are there any items you feel are essential to gearing up for your day? Here are a few things that I consider “must haves”:

Random essentials:
CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara

My go-to mascara that I consider an HG item (holy grail) If I have time for nothing else, a swipe of this helps me look and feel more awake and put together.
Viva la Juicy 1.7 oz EDP

For that little pick me up to set my mood! Fragrance can be a great little “pick me up” at times.
Because sleeping and parenting hardly ever go together. This stuff is another HG. It’s super blendable, covers well, and does not settle. I set it with a silica based powder if time allows. If you blend it out well enough you can skip foundation as it will work for covering blemishes as well.

Hey Amanda!
Just had to come by and check out your blog. I personally love peasant tops and jeans or long shorts to the knee. Figure forming but not too tight. My thighs can’t handle anything shorter lol. I want to add more batwing tops and skirts to my wardrobe for a more airy, breezy feel. I got rid of a bunch of stuff and am now working on building up my wardrobe again with pieces I love. A little at time!
I am in the same boat! I’m trying to build up a more functional wardrobe now that I have gotten into more of a groove of what works for me, if that makes sense. I love the style you are talking about! Breezy is an excellent word for it.
My dressier clothes are a lot like that. LOVE batwing style tops!! I love to layer with more flowy fabrics in the spring and summer when I want to feel pretty. I like to feel comfortable but still put together! I got in such a funk the last couple of years and comfortable turned into sloppy real quick! LOL I’m trying to change that and find ways to motivate myself everyday to put my best foot forward. Living in Hawaii, the warm breezes and sunshine would just be screaming for the exact style you are talking about! I’m not much for super skimpy things either, so clothes that move are a must.
Thanks for stopping by! Blogging is such great therapy isn’t it? Glad to make new friends along the way! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your posts and find your way of thinking so refreshing!
Much love from Germany- Amanda
